University of Glasgow Giving Day
In October this year, we helped Glasgow University launch their Giving Day: a fund-raising event aimed at Glasgow’s friends and alumni from across the world. In just 36 hours the University raised an incredible £120,000. We designed the logo, identity and campaign that helped build an active community of engaged generous donors.
Why did it work? It’s back to the audience; nobody who’s studied at Glasgow will forget the sight of the famous Gilbert Scott Building tower standing over the university buildings. So we neatly incorporated this into our Giving Day logo, and ramped up a flexible, branded, style that could house the key campaign messages in a joined up way. It created a cohesive approach to designs for events, T-shirts, pop-up banners, social templates, emails, direct donation channels, and more. And the returns came in.
